About

I am a computer IT professional with many years of experience supporting, building, documenting, troubleshooting, and understanding computer hardware and software. I have been employed at various companies supporting small, medium, and large sized networks with a wide range of configurations at each place. I enjoy helping people whether it is with computers or not. My passion is to be a reliable source for people to be able to count on. Since computers play a major role in my life, I figured this made the most sense as to the type of career I wanted to pursue.

Besides computers, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends. I have been blessed to be surrounded by the best family a person could ask for. I have been married for more than 10 years and I have two beautiful children. I cannot express enough how much they all mean to me. I was born and raised in Michigan mostly living in a suburb of Detroit. I have lived here my entire life. Even though I am technically an adult, I still enjoy playing video games, listening to music, and spending quality time with my family. I graduated from high school in 1993 and I returned to college in 2007. I am still enrolled in college and my goal is to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology / Information Systems Security.

No challenge is too big and overwhelming for me to not give it a shot at least once.  That is why I enjoy the type of work that I do.  I may not always have the answers but I do whatever I can to find a solution to any problem that a person is facing.  The computer world is always changing and I find sites like this one serve a great purpose to help people that are looking for a quick fix to a problem they are experiencing.  I have found many solutions online to various problems which is why I originally started UserIntervention as a forum back in 2004.  I am thrilled to bring UserIntervention back and I think changing the format to a blog will be a good move overall.  You will find many links on the right side of this site that showcase products I am currently taking a closer look at or that I find extremely valuable and would like to share with you.  If you wish to contact me for any reason, click on the ‘Contact’ link at the very top of the page.
